U.S. soccer star Hope Solo says ex-FIFA president ‘grabbed’ her

NEWS DESK: U.S. soccer star Hope Solo blamed ex-FIFA President Sepp Blatter for grabbing her bum amid a honors service five years back, a claim that the previous head of global football’s representing body denied, announced Reuters.

Solo, 36, told a Portuguese daily paper that Blatter touched her improperly in January 2013 amid the Ballon D’or grants service in Lisbon. A representative for Solo on Saturday affirmed her remarks.

“I had Sepp Blatter grab my butt,” the previous goalkeeper on the U.S. national women’s team said in a sound meeting with Expresso, posted on Saturday.

“It was at the Ballon D’or one year, just before I went in front of an audience,” said Solo, who got FIFA’s women’ player of the year grant in 2013. “It’s been standardized.” A representative for Blatter said in a telephone interview on Saturday that Solo’s claim was “ludicrous and crazy, and it isn’t valid.”

Solo is the most recent big name to open up to the world about allegations of sexual unfortunate behavior by intense men in games and stimulation, including motion picture maker Harvey Weinstein, performing artist Kevin Spacey and previous Fox News have Bill O’Reilly.
