LAHORE: Leg spinner has been picked in Pakistan’s squad for the upcoming test series with Sri Lanka beginning from 28th September. Pakistan reported its test squad for the two-coordinate test series against the island-country on Saturday.
The right arm spinner influenced it to the group subsequent to finishing a wellness to test.
Group: Shan Masood, Sami Aslam, Sarfraz Ahmad (commander), Asad Shafiq, Haris Sohail, Usman Salahudin, Mohammad Amir, Hasan Ali, Yasir Shah, Mohammad Ashgar, Mohammad Abbas, Bilal Asif, Mir Hamza, Azhar Ali and Wahab Riaz.
Batsman Ahmed Shehzad and wicket attendant Mohammad Rizwan have been dropped from the test squad for the arrangement.
Chief Selector of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Inzamam-ul-Haq said that the team will perform well under the capitancy of Sarfraz Ahmed. He included, “Everybody in the team, including the skipper needs to perform for the team.” Cricket news
The players experienced a preparation camp in Lahore in which the players worked in all divisions to enhance their diversion.
The first test will be played at Abu Dhabi from 28th September till second October while the second and last diversion will be played at Dubai from October sixth till October tenth.
